 The Riviera del Brenta area has been included in the national law programme regarding specific zone for the production of wines that grant the DOC (Denomination of Controlled Origin) status.
The most outstanding local vine-growing and wine-producing companies decided to join to create “Riviera del Brenta D.O.C. Association”, aiming at protecting, stimulating and explointing local wine production and tradition, which will also help wine tourism to develop, as a symbol of the environmental and cultural beauty of the area.
The recent reconstruction of wineries, also including the introduction of new storage casks and barrels and modern vinification techniques, guarantees high quality products. The most typical D.O.C. wines produced in the district and on sale at “Cantine Riviera del Brenta” cooperative store are Merlot, Raboso, Cabernet, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.
